The Missing Kick Boxing Belts

By Alan Mitchell
Texas

One day, Gertrude McCluck got a letter from a chicken a few farms over. The letter said "Dear Mrs. McCluck, we would like you to come to Mr. Chicken, and the Flying Foot Work's kick boxing match. We have had someone stealing all of the prizes, and we think he might strike tonight. Please come on Friday, the 21st in October. We would like you to help us apprehend the culprit."

So Gertrude told all of the chickens, and everyone she was leaving. She packed her note pad and her pen and was off. When she got there, she was greeted by Mr. Chicken and his manager.

"Ms. McCluck! I'm so glad you could come!" said Mr. Chicken.

"Thank you for inviting me!" Gertrude said. "Come walk with us to see the belt," said Mr. Chicken, "We suspect that he might strike in the first of the third round." As Ms. McCluck was writing all of it down, Mr. Chicken's manager interrupted, "You might want to get ready."

"Yes," Mr. Chicken replied. "We will see you after the match!" Mr. Chicken said to Ms. McCluck. And Ms. Gertrude was off to the ring.

In the first round, Mr. Chicken kicked with a right, and swung with a left and knocked Foot Work down to the ground. As he was getting back up, he hooked Mr. Chicken with a right punch and a right kick, and the match was over. They both got a drink, and washed their beaks out.

Then the second round came. Mr. Chicken kicked with a right and Footwork swung with a right and they both fell to the ground. When they got up they went back at it. Footwork swung a left wing and was blocked by Mr. Chicken. Then the round was over.

Ms. McCluck went over to the managers and asked them to come with her to where they keep the belt. As they were approaching the building, they heard a door slam. And a light made the gold on the belt shine and the two managers tackled the culprit.

Mrs. McCluck said, "Take off his mask!"

As they were taking off his mask, one of the managers said, "It's Willy the Weasel!!"

As they took him to lock him up, Mr.Chicken, Footwork and their managers thanked her and welcomed her back anytime she wanted. As she was walking back home, she was greeted by all her friends and told them all about her fun adventure!
