"Buk, buk, buc" said EU, "a mouse just stole my necklace, and I love my necklace. It was priceless, can somebody please help me?"
Timothy chick ran up, "What did your necklace look like?"
EU sobbed, "It had a big eggshell at the bottom and five diamonds on each side. It was very valuable to me, please help find it."
Timothy said, "I know someone who can help you: Ms. McCluck, I'll be right back." Timothy ran off go to find Ms. McCluck. When he had told Ms. McCluck what happened, she went right off with Timothy to find EU. When she got there she asked for a description of the mouse.
EU scratched her head and said, "He had a long pointy nose, he didn't have much hair, and he was six inches tall! Can you find him for me?"
Saluting, Gertrude said, "Of course, Ms McCluck is on the job, I'll find your necklace if it's the last thing I do. Timothy, keep your eyes peeled for the mouse, in case he comes back." Said Gertrude.
"Of course," said Timothy.
Ms. McCluck went on her way to find the mouse. She was very tired when she bumped into a duck by the name of Duck Duckling. "Can you help me get across the stream?" Ms. McCluck asked.
He scratched his head and then answered, "Not unless you get me something to eat." Ms. McCluck agreed and went off looking for insects. After a while she found insects under a rock. She gave them to him and Duck Duckling floated her across the stream.
When she finally got to the mouse town, she thanked the duck and started looking for the mischievous mouse. While she was looking she met many mice, none of them knew that mouse, however. She began wondering if the mouse even lived there. After wandering awhile she finally found a weird looking house. She looking inside and saw a necklace, it was hanging by a hook. A mouse was lying on a bed not too far away; he fit the description of the mouse perfectly.
She knocked on the door, and no one answered. So she opened the door and barged in. The mouse woke with a start at the slamming door. "Eek!"
Ms. McCluck went over and told him "Give back the necklace or else!"
He said, "No, I need to sell it for money to feed my family. They are all out searching for food in the woods.
Ms. McCluck said, "Give me the necklace and I will get you a job in Chicken Ville!"
"You would do that?" he asked.
"Of course, " said Ms. McCluck, "now give me the necklace so I can take it back to EU."
"OK." The mouse said with a smile.
