Once upon a time, there was a chicken and her name was Gertrude McCluck. One day, she went out to buy a new dress. At the store she saw a very beautiful purple dress. Gertrude went to buy the dress but she did not have enough money! She was very mad!

So, Gertrude went to find a cheaper dress. Then, Gertrude went to the clothing store. She saw a beautiful green dress, but it has a stain on it. Gertrude was so mad, she went to the hardware store.

"Do you sell any blue dresses?"

The hardware lady said, "We do not sell blue dresses, but we do sell tools."

Gertrude McCluck said, "Please, I really want a new dress."

"But we do not sell dresses!" said the hardware lady.

"But I want one!" replied Gertrude. So she ran home and found out her mom bought her a new dress. Guess what! The beautiful dress was purple.
