Once there was a chicken who lived on a farm named Gertrude McCluck. Her chicks played golf with their father. Mrs. Mccluck said, "I want to try golf."
Her husband gave her the club and said, "First of all you need a ball. Second you need to know how to swing the club. Now, you have a ball, you know how to swing the club so you just have to hit the ball in the hole."
Gertrude gave it a try. She missed the hole by twenty yards. She kept on trying then she finally got a par of four! She loved this game and played and played until it was winter. It was a long winter. She was going to a shopping store and then there it was...her very own putter!
She bought it. She practiced on it until it was spring.
Now she came out and hit a hole in one. The next hole, she got a hole in one too! Then she got invited to a golf tournament. She went and saw a tiger from the woods. He challenged her to a game. She picked up her club and hit a hole in one. It kept going on until hole twelve.
She won with a score of nineteen points out of eighteen holes!!
She was the best minigolfer in the country.
